The “Estia” Library is located in the village of Pyrgos, Santorini within the main building of the Center. The collection is currently being reorganized, catalogued and classified. The aim is to create a library that forms a warm nest of culture and education both for the village of Pyrgos as well as the entire island of Santorini.
The effort to reconstruct and re-open the library to the public has been undertaken by the president and the members of the Estia. At this initial phase, we have focused on gathering the material, recording it and cataloguing it systematically. The library collection consists of various books, mainly Greek literature as well as various historical and theological books and encyclopedias.
